Andrea and the owners of the Estate Apartment has developed a close professional and personal friendship that spans over two decades.
Three renovations later, their latest apartment personifies the evolution of both Andrea’s style and the clients’ journey as one of the leading collectors of South African art.
As art takes the center stage in this home, it was natural to use the glittering Rosie Mudge art piece as a starting point for the scheme of the apartment. The bespoke soft velvet pink chairs complement the shimmering backdrop that comes to life during the magnificent Cape Town sunsets.

The solid walnut bar unit with brass rods houses David Goldblatt’s iconic black and white photograph, Saturday Afternoon in Sunward Park, 1979. The quirky replica Roly-Poly chair brings a playful element to the living room.
Colour and texture are layered in a painterly fashion. Each space is enriched through bespoke furniture and art.
The world-map wallpaper from Cara Saven Wall Design creates a wanderlust dream world in the youngest child’s room.
